Which languages are supported?

Bahasa Malaysia, English, 中文 and தமிழ் are available out of the box, and you can mix languages on the same invite (e.g. Jawi headline with English body).

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Every theme is mobile-first and tested on iPhone, Android, iPad and desktop. Guests open the link in any browser — no app install required.

What's the difference between Free, Lite, Plus and Pro?

Free lets you build and preview forever. Lite (RM29) adds countdown, background music and 10 contacts. Plus (RM39) unlocks RSVP, digital guestbook and gift registry. Pro (RM59) adds photo gallery, music playlist, invitation video and livestream.

Is it a subscription?

No. Paid plans are a one-time payment per wedding, valid for one year from activation. No auto-renewal, no surprise charges.

What payment methods do you accept?

FPX online banking, DuitNow, GrabPay, Touch 'n Go eWallet, Visa and Mastercard. All payments are processed securely by our local payment partner.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — if you haven't published your invitation, request a refund within 7 days of payment and we'll process it back to your original method. Once the invite is published and shared, plans are non-refundable.

Do you provide invoices or receipts?

Every payment generates a downloadable receipt in your dashboard under Billing. For business or company-name invoices, email hello@invitee.my and we'll issue one within 1 working day.

How many themes are there?

Over 200 curated themes across Malay songket, Chinese red phoenix, Indian henna, Islamic geometric, modern minimal, botanical and editorial categories. New themes are added every month.

Can I switch themes after I've started?

Yes. Lite plan and above can swap themes anytime before or after publishing — your content (names, events, guests) stays put and just re-skins.

Can I change fonts and colors?

Each theme ships with curated typography and a palette. Pro lets couples upload their own cover image and fine-tune accent colors. Custom fonts are on the roadmap.

Can I upload my own cover photo or video?

Yes — upload a portrait photo on any paid plan, and an invitation video clip on Pro. We optimize files automatically for fast loading on slow connections.

Can I use my own background music?

Plus and Pro plans let you upload an MP3 or pick from our curated nasyid, instrumental and modern playlist. Pro adds a multi-track playlist with skip controls.

How do I add my guest list?

Type guests in one by one, paste from a list, or upload a CSV/Excel file. You can also import directly from your phone contacts on mobile.

Can I send personal links to each guest?

Yes. Every guest gets a unique link with their name pre-filled. Send via WhatsApp in one tap — the message is auto-composed in Bahasa or English.

How does the RSVP form work?

Guests tap Hadir / Tidak Hadir, enter their pax count and leave a doa. Responses sync live to your dashboard with totals by side, by table and by meal preference.

Can I limit the number of pax per guest?

Yes — set a maximum pax per invite (e.g. 2 for couples, 4 for families). The form enforces the cap and shows a friendly note if the guest tries to exceed it.

Can I resend or update an invitation after sharing?

Yes. Edit any detail (time, venue, dress code) and re-share — the link stays the same, so guests always see the latest version. Use the broadcast tool to notify everyone in one click.

How does QR check-in work?

Each confirmed guest gets a QR code. On the day, your usher opens the check-in page on any phone, scans the code, and the guest is marked attended with their table number shown instantly.

Can I manage seating and tables?

Yes. Drag guests into tables on the seating chart. Print a table list, or let guests look up their own table via the invite link on arrival.

How does e-Gifts (DuitNow QR) work?

Add your DuitNow QR image or bank account once. Guests tap e-Hadiah on the invite, see the QR, and contribute through any Malaysian banking app. Optional thank-you message auto-sends after.

Is the digital guestbook moderated?

You can require approval before messages appear, or auto-publish with profanity filtering. Either way, every message is saved as a downloadable keepsake after the wedding.

Can guests who can't attend watch a livestream?

Pro plan includes a livestream slot — paste your YouTube, Facebook Live or Zoom link and absent guests can watch live from the invitation page.

Can I edit my invitation after publishing?

Yes — edit unlimited times during your 1-year validity. Changes are live the moment you save.

What happens after the 1-year validity ends?

Your invitation switches to read-only. Guest data and the guestbook stay accessible, and you can renew for another year if you want to keep the live link active.

Is my data and my guests' data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Data is hosted on encrypted servers, never sold, and never used for advertising. We comply with Malaysia's PDPA 2010 and you can request a full data export or deletion anytime.
